I can’t say enough good thing about this company. We highly recommend them. They where punctual, efficient and helpful. The customer service is great. We had them hook up the electrical to our new AC and then had them come out another time to help us in our older house with some outlet trouble. 10 out of 10!

Excellent service and people. I called Barnes to have two exterior outlets installed in our home. They were able to get someone to our house the following week (given how busy electrical contractors can be, this was a pleasant surprise given it was a non-emergent issue). The electrician came by the following week and installed both outlets - taking an hour less than originally anticipated and saving us an hour's labor. He even cleaned up after drilling the brick. Overall, we could not be happier with Barnes, their people, and their pricing. We have some additional wiring we want to do in the spring and they will be our first call. Thank you to the team at Barnes - excellent work!

I needed to have a control module replacement on our Master Cool unit .
I called and spoke to Tiffany Early Thursday am. She was very professional, efficient and expedited the process immediately. !!
Within a few hours she had Scott call me and verify what needed to be done . Scott scheduled John to be here Monday @ 12:00 , noon . Pending the module ( Special order) to arrive on Saturday.
. Control module was ordered. Arrived on time . .
John called before 12:00 , arrived approximately 11:30. ( 1/2 hour early) . John was very professional, coordual, and efficient

I HIGHLY recommend Barnes Electric for ANY electrical service you may need in Grand Junction or the surrounding area. We have used them several times for various issues (some even had to be diagnosed) and they did an exceptional job! Their journeymen (and women) were wonderful to work with. They were even able to get me on the schedule the same week. They are affordable, reliable, and provided quality above my expectations. We will ONLY use them in the future.

We decided to upgrade our electric panel for our house, and to also convert the hot tub from 110, to 220. We were quoted 2,300 approx. That was fine, as it included everything that was discussed in the consult. Well, after the upgrade for the house was completed, they did not upgrade for the hot tub, we had to call them back. They arrived the following week, and charged us another 900 to get that done, when it was meant to of been included in the 2,300 price.We did bring this to the attention of Barnes Electric, so they knocked off $200, at least that was something. But there's more, the electric for the house was all on one breaker, and appliances kept going out, which required us to keep flipping the breaker box to turn back on. We had to call them back and find out why it wasnt working. It was rectified so that the house were on several breakers, (which should of been done right in the beginning), we thought it was a courtesy to fix it, until now, they are trying to extract more money from us when 1. They already ripped us off from the hot tub upgrade, and 2. It should of not taken 2 attempts to get it right! Ripped us off I'm afraid to say, and still trying to do so. I do not recommend these people.

Todd was the most professional person I had the pleasure of having out here in some time. He was honest and willing to find the issues and really explained everything in detail which I enjoyed the most. Great people and would recommend to anyone!!!
