I'm trying to reply to "V" who left a review of Mike Casey at Homes of Manitou Springs..

First and foremost, I have used Mike as my realtor on previous transactions and the service he has provided has been absolutely first class and professional. V states that "years ago I approached Mike....." and you are just bringing something up now? Mike declined to "show you around..." --why would he do that? Realtors work on commission from sales, not from declining to show prospective buyers around town.
This a prime example of someone who has sour grapes about something and decided to make a scapegoat out of someone. THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT!! OR ENTITLED!!
I will gladly provide my name and contact information, and not hide behind some obtuse anonymous review because I have some lame ax to grind.
Mike would be, and will be, my FIRST choice for future real estate transactions.
Bugger off, "V" whoever you may be.

When I was moving to Manitou years ago I approached Mike to be my realtor and “show me around” and shop for my home. He told me “I could go look around on my own”. I thought, fine, I will find my own home (and I did!) if you’re too lazy to “show a buyer around”. And seeing the houses that people allow him to list for sale, the pictures do not do the properties justice (I’m assuming he just snaps pics on his phone rather than hire a professional photographer to show properties at their best). So, caveat emptor. If you’re going to pay top dollar for realtor services, there’s a lot more work that goes into buying/selling a home than just filling in the blanks of a premade contract ! I think there are many other realtors out there who would work harder for you and provide better value than this one.

Our homebuying experience could not have been better! Mike is a super knowledgable realtor and an excellent communicator. He helped us along with timely remiders and dealines as our closing approached, which was very helpful condsidering how hectic our move from out of state was. He was there for us every time when we could not be, with the inspection, and multiple contractor visits and always kept us informed. Even though he is based in Manitou Springs, he covers Colorado Springs where we are now in our new home! We couldn't have done it without Mike's help!
