Fantastic experience! The mattresses were very firm and so comfortable! The decor and vibe is fun, silly, and joyful which just made me laugh and put me in a great mood (for example, they provide a wall-mounted soap dispenser labeled “Hand Decontaminant: for clean hands scrub your hands with your hands; rinse throughly”). While it’s located near the main road through town I didn’t hear traffic noise - it was peaceful. There is a hot water kettle, small microwave, and mini fridge in the room, too - very convenient! Mancos is a fantastic town with a great restaurants (vegan food, too), a beautiful library to hang out in, and a really nice dog park. I highly recommend planning your visit in the area to include a stay at the Mesa Verde Motel!

Found this gem of a motel on a random search of places to stay close to Mesa Verde. It's the quirkiest little place and I loved everything about it! Having the coffee shop right at the motel was such a nice little morning pick-me-up. If we're ever back in the area, we'd stay again. Rooms were clean and amenities were good.

Loved the mid-century modern motif and especially the comfortable bed and clean room. Such a fun and cozy place to stay, nice to be able to park right outside of your room like the “good ol’ days”! Great idea to have a coffee and bar on site. Great visiting with the locals, visitors and owners. Thanks so much!

This is my third time to stay at Mesa Verde Motel and I will continue to stay there more times! The rooms are clean, efficient, fun, retro and have very comfortable beds and nice linens. Sally and Matt do a great job along with the other two owners. The M Bar is the best to sit and have coffee and a breakfast sandwich in the morning and a drink later in the day. All are friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next stay!

We love this place! We stop in Mancos a couple of times a year and always stay at the Mesa Verde Motel. It’s very very clean. Rooms are cute and comfortable. Great coffee and cocktails on-site. The management is great - they are always friendly and welcoming.

The owners think of everything. All the details of this customized, old style motel made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The beds and bedding were crisp and cozy. The heat was easy to control and the hot water modulated just right. After a day of mountain biking or hiking Mesa Verde, nobody wants a lukewarm bath. The little cafe was nice and we enjoyed breakfast burritos and egg sandwiches.

The rooms are delightfully fanciful as well as comfortable. They are honest about the thin walls, providing both ear plugs and property quiet hours from 10-8. Cocktails and coffee available on premises, what more could you ask for on top of a prime location for accessing downtown Mancos and all of the beauty around?!?
