Honestly not sure how they have glowing reviews. Working with Rush security has been highly disappointing and mediocre at best. We had multiple missed appointments with their technician until I put my foot down and said I'd cancel service if they didn't show up. He started to show up after that, but just for a couple days and in my opinion still did subpar work. At first, the alarm system wouldn't register "away", only "stay". Then the doorbell camera was constantly ringing even when no one was there. The motion detector also doesn't work.

Next, we paid $400 for equipment and a $75 monthly monitoring. I wish I'd just gone with Ring because they are cheaper but I wanted to support local 🙄.

When we asked to cancel we were told we'd have to pay a 1400 cancellation fee to recoup the loss of having an electrician come out and for the 'low' $75 monitoring and to buyout the contract. Initially, we were told they offered no contract service, which was the only reason we went with them. I did the math and that 1400 fee would total out to about 1.5 years of subpar service. No thanks.

We took the loss but you don't have to, go with someone else or just install your own alarm.

Rush Alarm is like no other security alarm service. The customer service is amazing, installation is simple, the value you receive far exceeds the price. You can really tell Rush Alarm cares about you and your safety and do not just treat you as another transaction. Website is mobile friendly and the owner and employees do a great job of communicating to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for while making it as simple for you as possible. I suggest Rush Alarm to anyone looking for a security and alarm system.

I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a security system or alarm. I was very specific with Stan about what I wanted. He was able to design a system that meet my needs. Because of strict guidelines with our HOA the installation was a lot more difficult. Stan and the installers, Miles and Andrew, meet with me and came up with a way to make it work while keeping within my budget. Great Job & Great Value
